General Notes: Lawrence Lobo-Prabhu donated the site for St. Aloysius College in Mangalore. He acquired vast areas of land in central Mangalore including Ediyah Hill (now better known as Lighthouse Hill). He was one of the first Mangaloreans to attain the rank of Munsiff.

Lawrence married Ignatia TELLIS, daughter of Santiago TELLIS and Magdalena COELHO. Ignatia was born on Dec 25, 1819 and died on May 27, 1890 at age 70.
