General Notes: Greta became a doctor, worked for a short while in Mangalore and Madras, and then married Captain Baretto of the Indian army. The couple has a daughter, Angela, shortly before Captain Baretto was gunned down by Pustu tribesmen in Quetta (now Pakistan) while trying to evacuate a convent. Thereafter, Greta worked for at a hospital at Vijayawada run by nuns, till she died in 1966. Greta Baretto's daughter Angela married Cyril Aranha, an engineer in Telco, Jamshedpur, and had 4 children.

Greta married Captain Jose da Gama BARETTO. Jose died on Oct 25, 1947.
