1. Corporal James KELMAN was born circa 1775 in Scotland and died on Feb 21, 1805 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India about age 30.

General Notes: James Kelman was recruited by the Scots Brigade and became a Private in the Scots Brigade on 16th April, 1800. James married Margaret about 1790. Margaret was born circa 1776 in Scotland and died in 1836 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India about age 60.

   3    ii. James KELMAN was born on Jul 23, 1796 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and died in 1797 at age 1.

+ 4    iii. John James KELMAN was born circa Jul 1800, was baptized on Mar 21, 1801 in Fort St. George, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India, died on May 10, 1831 about age 30, and was buried on May 10, 1831 in St. Mary's Church, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

+ 5    iv. Sergeant William KELMAN was born on May 10, 1801 in Bellary, Karnataka, India, was baptized on May 29, 1802 in Fort St. George, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India, and died on Nov 13, 1870 in Vellore, Tamilnadu, India at age 69.
